Volleyball Recap: Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran/Providence Academy's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran/Providence Academy walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Bowler Panthers on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran/Providence Academy as it put an end to their five-match losing streak.

While Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran/Providence Academy might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Bowler scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Bowler saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jessa Hartleben had 14 digs and two assists. Those 14 digs set a new season-high mark for Hartleben.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-9. As for Bowler, they dropped their record down to 3-18 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran/Providence Academy nor Bowler have any future games scheduled.
