Providence School hasn't had much luck at home recently (they'd lost five straight dating back to last season) but thanks in part to Caden Jones that streak is no more. Everything went the Stallions' way against the Impact Christian Academy Lions on Friday as they made off with a 34-12 win with plenty of help from Jones, who rushed for 102 yards and one touchdown, and also picked up 47 receiving yards and one TD. Providence School is 2-1 when Jones posts 100 or more rushing yards, but 1-3 otherwise.

Despite the loss, Impact Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Andrew Wright Jr, who rushed for 78 yards and one score, and also threw for 125 yards on only ten passes.

Providence School's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Impact Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.

Providence School will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on KIPP Bold City at 6:30 p.m. on the 17th. As for Impact Christian Academy, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 25-14 victory against Paxon School For Advanced Studies on the 10th.
