Basketball Game Preview: Madison West Regents vs. Janesville Parker Vikings

The Madison West Regents will challenge the Janesville Parker Vikings at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Madison West knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Janesville Parker likes a good challenge.

Madison West is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Heritage Christian by a score of 92-79 two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, Janesville Parker can finally bid farewell to their 12-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Monday. They walked away with a 64-57 victory over Milwaukee Riverside.

Madison West's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Janesville Parker, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.

Madison West and Janesville Parker were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, but Madison West came up empty-handed after a 78-77 defeat. Can Madison West avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
