Football Game Preview: Southwest Georgia STEM Charter Aggies vs. Baconton Charter Blazers

The Southwest Georgia STEM Charter Aggies are taking a road trip to square off against the Baconton Charter Blazers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Friday, Southwest Georgia STEM Charter took a blow against Atkinson County, falling 70-18. The Aggies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Baconton Charter's offense. They had to suffer through a 29-0 loss at the hands of Deerfield-Windsor. While losing is never fun, the Blazers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 457th, while the Knights are ranked 116th).

Baconton Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Southwest Georgia STEM Charter, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Southwest Georgia STEM Charter and Baconton Charter were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in September of 2023, but Southwest Georgia STEM Charter came up empty-handed after a 1-0 defeat. Can the Aggies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
