Basketball Recap: Hays Victorious

Hays hadn't done well against Glenn recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. In a tight match that could have gone either way, the Hays Hawks made off with a 56-55 victory over the Glenn Grizzlies. This was a revenge game for the Hawks: when they faced off against the Grizzlies on January 3rd, they had to take a 58-44 defeat.

The win made it two in a row for Hays and bumps their season record up to 13-17. As for Glenn, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-16.

Hays will face off against Liberty Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Liberty Hill will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Hays surely won't give up without a fight. Glenn has already played their next game (against Cedar Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
