Basketball Game Preview: Parkview Christian Academy Falcons vs. Westmont Sentinels

The Parkview Christian Academy Falcons will be taking part in a tournament against the Westmont Sentinels at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Parkview Christian Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Westmont will be coming in after a defeat.

Parkview Christian Academy saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They strolled past Reavis with points to spare, taking the game 64-50. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Parkview Christian Academy relied on the efforts of Tessa New, who shot 53% from the field on her way to 21 points along with seven boards and three steals, and Rhen Staudacher, who went 7-for-12 en route to 22 points and eight rebounds. Those 21 points gave New a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Carlyle, who posted seven points and nine boards.

Meanwhile, Westmont unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Reavis on Thursday, falling 42-20.
