Bixby faced Owasso in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Spartans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Rams. Bixby's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four matchups.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Sadie Trotter, which was the first she's scored this season.

Bixby's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those three contests. As for Owasso, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.

Looking ahead, Bixby will square off against Westmoore at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Westmoore will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Bixby surely won't give up without a fight. As for Owasso, they will be playing at home against Broken Arrow at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
