Basketball Game Preview: Enloe Eagles vs. Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs

Enloe hasn't had much luck against Southeast Raleigh recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Enloe Eagles will welcome the Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m.

Enloe is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game on Thursday. They took a blow against Cardinal Gibbons, falling 54-25.

Meanwhile, Southeast Raleigh entered their tilt with Cleveland on Monday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They enjoyed a cozy 56-42 victory over the Rams. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Rams are ranked 262nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Southeast Raleigh pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.8 points per game. As for Enloe, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.

Enloe took a serious blow against Southeast Raleigh in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 81-9. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Enloe was down 52-2.
