Soccer Recap: Josey Comes Up Short

Josey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Johnson Panthers, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 399th, while the Panthers are ranked 182nd).

Josey's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Johnson, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Josey has already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Hart County on the 18th. As for Johnson, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-4 defeat against Alleluia Community on the 18th.
