Baseball Game Preview: Glenn Rockets vs. Wayne Memorial Zebras

For the second straight game, Glenn will face off against Wayne Memorial. The Rockets will take on the Zebras at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Glenn is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They walked away with an 11-7 win over Wayne Memorial on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Rockets as it spelled an end to their 15-game losing streak.

For Wayne Memorial's part, Alejandro Quinones made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two doubles. Those doubles marked the first that Quinones has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Donny West, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Wayne Memorial's loss was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Glenn, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 2-16.
