Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Seaford). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 42-7 victory over the Christiana Vikings. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bluejays.

Vince Evans III produced another solid performance rushing for 147 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 52 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Brendan West also helped with two scores in total.

Another reason for the win was Seaford's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Aizyon Matthews was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. Seaford received some extra help from West, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Seaford's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Christiana, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seaford will head out to take on Laurel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Christiana, they will venture away from home to challenge Concord at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
