Volleyball Recap: Calvary Day School Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Calvary Day School suffered their biggest loss since September 2nd on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Calvary Day School took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-16, 26-24.

Olivia Craig paced Calvary Day School's offense, picking up nine kills. Craig got some help from Reagan Reece and her 16 assists. Quinn Cornatzer controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Lucy Gonzalez had an outrageously good game for Wesleyan Christian Academy as she had 18 digs and two aces. Those 18 digs gave Gonzalez a new career-high.

Calvary Day School's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Wesleyan Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 17-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home.

Calvary Day School wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Forsyth Country Day on the 30th. As for Wesleyan Christian Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Greensboro Day School on the 30th.
