Softball Recap: Capistrano Valley Cougars vs. Buena Park Coyotes
Capistrano Valley picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They blew past the Buena Park Coyotes 12-4. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by eight runs or more this season.
Camille Titus made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off 11 hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
