Baseball Game Preview: Paradise Honors Panthers vs. Coconino Panthers

We've got a battle between Panthers coming up. Paradise Honors is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Paradise Honors proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 11) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Sahuarita 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since April 2, 2024.

Boeden Forquer was excellent, going 2-for-3 with four RBI. Joshua Green Jr. also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.

Paradise Honors always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .562 or higher in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Coconino and Shadow Ridge finished up their match with a 5-5 draw on Saturday.

Paradise Honors' win bumped their record up to 4-0. Coconino's draw makes their record 2-2-1 this season.
