Basketball Recap: Glenn Comes Up Short

Glenn has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were dealt a 60-23 defeat at the hands of the Frankenmuth Eagles on Friday. The contest marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Frankenmuth found their leader in sophomore Macy Donovan, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds. The Eagles are undefeated when Donovan posts eight or more boards, but 3-5 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Lucy Conzelmann, who posted seven points and eight steals.

Glenn's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Frankenmuth, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-5.

Looking ahead, Glenn will host Bay City Western at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Frankenmuth, they have already played their next matchup, a 59-46 defeat against West Catholic on the 26th.
