Softball Recap: Surry Central Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Surry Central had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Madison Patriots, sneaking past 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Golden Eagles have posted since April 10th.

With the victory, Surry Central broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-13. As for Madison, they now have a losing record of 11-12.

As of now, neither Surry Central nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
