Baseball Recap: Clarkdale Finds Home Field Redemption Against West Lauderdale

There's no place like home for Clarkdale, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the West Lauderdale Knights on Friday by a score of 3-2 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since April 26, 2024.

Clarkdale's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-6. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for West Lauderdale, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 14 games and leaves them with a 18-3 record.
