Volleyball Recap: Livingston Makes It Six in a Row at Home

It's playoff time, and Livingston had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Oakland Tech Bulldogs by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Livingston had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-21, 25-23, 25-22.

Livingston was led to victory by Shabadjot Kaloya and Gurvir Singh. Kaloya had 35 assists and four digs, while Singh hit 69.4% for 25 kills and 12 digs and one block. Singh has been hot for a while, having posted six or more kills the last 64 times he's played.

They weren't the only ones working in the hitting percentage department: Livingston couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 43.4% of their attack attempts. The last time their hitting percentage was this high was back in April.

Livingston pushed their record up to 36-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Oakland Tech, they moved to 20-13 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Livingston didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Oakland on the 24th. Oakland Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
