Basketball Recap: Battle Ground Academy Takes a Loss

Battle Ground Academy suffered their closest loss since December 28, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the University School of Nashville Tigers by a score of 63-60. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 76-56.

Battle Ground Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-10. As for University School of Nashville, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Battle Ground Academy Wildcats face off against the Middle Tennessee Christian Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Battle Ground Academy is facing Middle Tennessee Christian at the right time seeing as Middle Tennessee Christian is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for University School of Nashville, they will face off against The Webb School at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. University School of Nashville is on a three-game streak of home wins, The Webb School a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
