Softball Game Preview: North Vermillion Falcons vs. Attica Red Ramblers

For the second straight game, North Vermillion will face off against Attica. The Falcons will host the Red Ramblers at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.

North Vermillion took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They came out on top against Attica by a score of 13-3 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The game marked the Falcons' most dominant win of the season.

For Attica's part, Maddie Beck made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run was Beck's first of the season. Katelynn Driver was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Attica has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for North Vermillion, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.
