Meanwhile, Corinth put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 17-0 margin over Fort Edward. With that win, Corinth brought their scoring average up to 7 runs per game.
Corinth got a massive performance out of Whitney Cameron, who went 2-for-4 with four runs, a triple, and two RBI. Savannah Sullivan was another key contributor, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Salem's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Corinth, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
Everything went Salem's way against Corinth in their previous matchup back in April of 2023 as Salem made off with a 12-6 victory.
