It was fun while it lasted, but Ann Sobrato's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Friday. They took a 14-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Piedmont Hills Pirates. The contest was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the Bulldogs couldn't quite close it out.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Davi Refugio, who rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. The dominant performance gave Refugio a new career-high in rushing yards. Ann Sobrato will face off against Willow Glen at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Willow Glen will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Ann Sobrato surely won't give up without a fight. As for Piedmont Hills, they will take on Overfelt at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
