Baseball Recap: Brodhead/Juda Takes a Loss

Brodhead/Juda lost against Turner on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cardinals lost 12-6 to the Trojans. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Braylon Strehlow and Gabe Bockhop did some serious damage despite the final result: Strehlow went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI, while Bockhop got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that Strehlow has hit this season.

Brodhead/Juda's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Turner, they pushed their record up to 20-2 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brodhead/Juda will venture away from home to square off against Edgerton at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Turner, they will face off against Verona at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
