Southern Guilford is 9-1 against High Point Central since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Southern Guilford Storm are taking a road trip to take on the High Point Central Bison at 12:00 p.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Southern Guilford and 33 for High Point Central dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, High Point Central played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 64-11 loss at the hands of Northwest Cabarrus. While losing is never fun, the Bison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 553rd, while the Trojans are ranked 103rd).

Southern Guilford's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for High Point Central, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Everything came up roses for Southern Guilford against High Point Central in their previous meeting back in February, as the squad secured a 67-8 win. In that match, Southern Guilford amassed a halftime lead of 35-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
