Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Marisol Sanchez and Audrey Prado-King Lead Skyline to Victory + How To Watch

Skyline won the last time they faced Northridge and things went their way on Saturday too. The Falcons put the hurt on the Grizzlies with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Falcons not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since September 10, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Skyline's got stronger as the match went on, holding Northridge to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 25-15.

Skyline was led to victory by Audrey Prado-King and Marisol Sanchez. Prado-King had five digs and four aces, while Sanchez had 12 digs and three aces. Sanchez has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

They weren't the only good server: Skyline was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in eight consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Skyline's record is now 2-0. As for Northridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Skyline will take on Greeley West at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northridge, they will welcome Roosevelt at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Grizzlies' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
