Volleyball Recap: Summit Shasta's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Summit Shasta had won five straight games and Justin Tsang did his part to make it six on Thursday. Summit Shasta blew past the KIPP Esperanza Eagles 3-0 for which the team can thank Tsang, who had 19 assists and 11 aces. Those 11 aces gave him a new career-high.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-3, 25-16, 25-14.

Summit Shasta pushed their record up to 7-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for KIPP Esperanza, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Summit Shasta and KIPP Esperanza will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time Summit Shasta sees the court they'll take on Mountain View Academy at 5:00 p.m. on April 8. As for KIPP Esperanza, their break will end when they face The Kehillah School at 4:00 p.m. on April 9.
