Basketball Recap: Hayti Falls Short of South Iron in the Playoffs

Hayti and South Iron squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Hayti had to settle for second. They fell just short of the South Iron Panthers by a score of 60-57. The Indians have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Hayti's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for South Iron, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 20-5.

Hayti does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Iron, they will challenge Puxico on Friday. One thing working in Puxico's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 14 matchups.
