Softball Recap: Palmdale Takes a Loss

Palmdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 23-2 to the Knight Hawks. The Falcons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Hawks from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Palmdale's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Knight, the win (which was their fourth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Palmdale Falcons duke it out with Lancaster Eagles at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Palmdale has given up an average of 13.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Knight, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Antelope Valley at 3:15 p.m. One thing working in Knight's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
