Football Recap: Wayne Comes Up Short

Wayne lost against Lexington back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Wayne fell 14-6 to Lexington. Wayne has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wayne now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lexington, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Wayne will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Healdton at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Lexington, they will take on Purcell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
