Providence Christian had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 17-14 win over the Clarke County Bulldogs on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won three games in a row.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Providence Christian's defense and their four sacks. Clarke County's QB won't forget Tom Borland anytime soon given he sacked him twice.

Providence Christian's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Clarke County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.

Providence Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-14 victory against Loachapoka on the 14th. Clarke County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
