Soccer Recap: Riverdale Wins Going Away Against South Atlanta

On Thursday, the Riverdale Raiders made easy work of the South Atlanta Hornets and carried off a 5-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

They hit South Atlanta with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alison Sanchez (2), Lisania Castro, Sofia Ortega, and Jazmin Rodriguez.

Riverdale's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverdale will head out to square off against Lovejoy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South Atlanta will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Miller Grove at 5:30 p.m. on February 24th.
