Volleyball Recap: Dobson Comes Up Short

Dobson saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell just short of the Willow Canyon Wildcats by a score of 2-1.

Among those leading the charge was Emory Scogin, who had 13 digs and one assist.

Dobson's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Willow Canyon, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season.

Willow Canyon has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Queen Creek on the 26th. Hopefully Dobson paid attention to the Wildcats' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wildcats at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday.
