Sierra Lutheran had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Sparks Railroaders by a score of 2-0. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Railroaders, too.

Sierra Lutheran didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Loyalton on the 16th. As for Sparks, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Churchill County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Railroaders have a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with 19 straight defeats, while the Greenwave will come in with four straight victories.
