First Assembly Christian hadn't done well against Lausanne Collegiate recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Crusaders came out on top against the Lynx by a score of 8-3. That's two games straight that the Crusaders have won by exactly five runs.

The win was the third in a row for First Assembly Christian, bringing their record up to 15-19. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Lausanne Collegiate, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-12.
