Soccer Recap: Horeb Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Calvary Chapel Academy on Saturday, Horeb Christian came back down to earth. The Mustangs came up short against the Greater Miami Academy Warriors on Monday, falling 9-1.

Horeb Christian has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11-1 record this season. As for Greater Miami Academy, the victory got them back to even at 6-6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Horeb Christian will venture away from home to square off against Highlands Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Greater Miami Academy, they will face off against Sheridan Hills Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Greater Miami Academy will be up against Sheridan Hills Christian's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.7 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
