Soccer Game Preview: Kennedy vs. American

The Kennedy Titans will head out on the road to take on the American Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Kennedy will be strutting in after a win while American will be coming in after a defeat.

On Wednesday, Kennedy beat Mission San Jose 3-1. That's two games straight that the Titans have won by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, American unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 6-2 to Newark Memorial. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

American's loss dropped their record down to 3-9-1. As for Kennedy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2-3.

Kennedy beat American by a goal when the teams last played on January 8th, winning 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kennedy since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
