Basketball Recap: Ringling Comes Up Short

Ringling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 93-40 loss at the hands of the Velma-Alma Comets. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 79-32 two weeks ago.

Ringling's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Velma-Alma, their victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Ringling will take on Empire at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Velma-Alma, they are taking a road trip to take on Central at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Central will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Velma-Alma surely won't give up without a fight.
