Basketball Game Preview: Rockhurst Hawklets vs. Lee's Summit West Titans

The Rockhurst Hawklets are taking a road trip to face off against the Lee's Summit West Titans at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Rockhurst will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Rockhurst is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 76-34 win over Chrisman. The Hawklets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 21 points or more this season.

Rockhurst's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Callen Eskew, who posted 16 points and five rebounds, and Carson Green, who put up 13 points. The dominant performance also gave Green a new career-high in boards (two). Another player making a difference was Maxwell Moylan, who scored eight points.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Lee's Summit West beat Liberty North 62-58 on Friday.

Rockhurst's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.6 points over those games. As for Lee's Summit West, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-15 record this season.
