Basketball Game Preview: Johnston Speedboys vs. Jeffers Jets

The Johnston Speedboys will face off against the Jeffers Jets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Thursday, Johnston ended up a good deal behind Dollar Bay and lost 45-26. The Speedboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Jeffers was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 54-49 to Houghton. The defeat continues a trend for the Jets in their matchups with the Gremlins: they've now lost six in a row.

Jeffers' loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Johnston, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
