Volleyball Recap: Floyd Central Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Autumn Engle and Eva Casteel

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Floyd Central couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Yorktown Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. If the Highlanders were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Tigers when the teams met back in October of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the defeat, Floyd Central had strong showings from Eva Casteel, who had 28 digs, and Autumn Engle, who had 18 digs and eight assists.
