After losing to South Houston the last time they met, North Shore decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Mustangs walked away with a 2-0 win over the Trojans on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Amaya Edwards paced North Shore's offense, picking up five kills. Edwards got some help from Madison Gray and her 12 assists. Jade Tran controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

North Shore's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for South Houston, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-20.

North Shore has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Cypress Park on the 30th. As for South Houston, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Klein Forest on the 30th.
