Bishop O'Dowd is 8-1-1 against San Leandro since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Bishop O'Dowd Dragons will square off against the San Leandro Pirates at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

San Leandro will have to contend with a Bishop O'Dowd squad hungry for a victory, something the team hasn't seen since December 6. Bishop O'Dowd fell just short of Campolindo by a score of 3-2 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, San Leandro came up short against Berkeley on Thursday, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 538th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 145th).

This is the second loss in a row for San Leandro and nudges their season record down to 3-3-1. As for Bishop O'Dowd, the loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 1-3-2.

Bishop O'Dowd took their win against San Leandro in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 6-1. Will Bishop O'Dowd repeat their success, or does San Leandro have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
