Soccer Game Preview: Salem vs. Concord

Salem hasn't had much luck against Concord recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Blue Devils will venture away from home to face off against the Crimson Tide at 4:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Salem came up short against Londonderry on Tuesday, falling 6-3.

Meanwhile, Concord came up short against Hanover on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The loss continues a trend for Concord in their meetings with Hanover: they've now lost three in a row.

Concord's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Salem, they now have a losing record of 5-6-2.

Everything went Salem's way against Concord when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Salem made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
