Volleyball Recap: Catalina Foothills Extends Home Winning Streak to Seven

Catalina Foothills waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Desert View Jaguars with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

Catalina Foothills was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-20, 25-16.

Jacob Martinez paced Catalina Foothills' offense, picking up six kills. Martinez got some help from Kyle Senkerik and his 29 assists. Zane Schwartz controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Catalina Foothills pushed their record up to 19-10 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Desert View, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
