Volleyball Recap: Barrington Gets the Win

Barrington posted their closest win since October 18, 2024 on Saturday. They skirted past the Geneva Vikings 2-1.

Kalyn Brookbank paced Barrington's offense, picking up 13 kills. Brookbank got some help from Eve Adler and her 16 assists. Jaelyn Connole and Scout Matiyow kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Barrington now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Geneva, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Barrington has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Lincoln-Way West on the 30th. As for Geneva, they will host Waubonsie Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
