Volleyball Recap: Glenbard North Beats Hoffman Estates for Their Fourth Straight Win

Glenbard North waltzed into their match on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Hoffman Estates Hawks by a score of 2-0. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hawks, too.

Glenbard North never let Hoffman Estates on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-16.

Glenbard North was led to victory by Abby Graf and Lucy Perez. Graf had 24 assists, while Perez had eight digs. Graf is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

Glenbard North's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Hoffman Estates, they dropped their record down to 8-13 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glenbard North will welcome Lake Park at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hoffman Estates, they will be playing at home against Barrington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last four games the Fillies/Broncos have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
