Baseball Recap: Middletown Mustangs vs. Willits Wolverines

Middletown barely beat Willits the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Middletown Mustangs' pitcher stepped up to hand the Willits Wolverines a 7-0 shutout on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Cody Perez was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over seven innings pitched.
