Volleyball Recap: Roosevelt Gets the Win

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Roosevelt walked away with it. They skirted past the Fresno Christian Eagles 3-2. For the Rough Riders, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Roosevelt was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (104-100), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 16-25, 25-22, 25-22, 15-10.

Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 10-17. As for Fresno Christian, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-23.

After both having extra time off, Roosevelt and Paso Robles will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th. Fresno Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
