Celina entered their tilt with St. Henry on Saturday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They had just enough and edged out the Redskins  3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played  back in May of 2024.
 Braylon Steinbrunner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a  run (which was  unearned)  on four hits. He also  tossed  no  walks, which is notable because Celina is 6-2 when he allows at  most  two  walks, but 7-8 otherwise.
 On the hitting side, Celina's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Brodee Schulte-Arnold, who  went 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases and one  run. Schulte-Arnold has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played.  Logan Sapp also deserves some recognition as  he  snagged his first  stolen base of the season.
 Celina  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters  in seven consecutive  games.
Celina's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 13-10. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for St. Henry,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 11-9.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Celina will head out to  square off against Houston  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for St. Henry, they will venture away from home to  challenge Wapakoneta  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. St. Henry's pitchers better be ready for this one: Wapakoneta has averaged an impressive 7.7  runs per game this season.
