Softball Recap: Cicero-North Syracuse Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Cicero-North Syracuse was the 14-4 winner over West Genesee when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Northstars fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday.

Cicero-North Syracuse's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-4. As for West Genesee, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7.

Cicero-North Syracuse has already played their next match, a 13-4 victory against Fayetteville-Manlius on the 14th. As for West Genesee, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-3 win against Westhill on the 14th.
